There are thousands of newspapers of all types in the United States of America. Not infrequently, they publish very bad editorial cartoons. Hey, here's a new one.

This one comes from the Roswell (NM) Daily Record. After some folks got a little upset about this one, the paper explained that "The intent was that just as Larry Bird has no connection to Roswell, neither do MLK nor César Chávez. The cartoonist meant that if we are going to have honorary street signs, the individuals named on those signs should have connections to Roswell."

Oh, is that so?
