What do Matt Drudge and/or his employee(s) do in between scooping up links relevant and entertaining to America’s legion of conservative conspiracy theorists? Well, probably the same thing you do when you surf the computer all day: look at porn.

Today, a headline briefly appeared on The Drudge Report that intended to link out to a story about Alaska Airlines losing the luggage of its chief executive Brad Tilden. Here is how the headline looked on The Drudge Report:

But if you go to Drudge’s site now, you won’t see that headline anywhere. It was deleted because what it actually linked out to was a 90-second hardcore porn clip hosted on a Tumblr page called “ManOnFire1978.” It features a woman giving a man a blowjob until he ejaculates into her mouth. This specific Tumblr appears to be dedicated exclusively to POV videos of men receiving oral sex and the resultant money shots.

Though Drudge wiped the link from his site rather quickly—based on the timing of a tip we received, it was up for around a half-hour—the various bots and feeds that scrape each one of his headlines still have the link archived.

Both of those links currently direct you to the porn. DrudgeReportArchives.com, a site that archives the Drudge front page every two minutes and from where I pulled the headline screenshot, also showed that headline as directing to the blowjob video, though as of right now it appears to have deleted all reference to it from its website. (Drudge Report Archives keeps a chronological masterlist of its records. The one link from today that showed the porn headline—16:08:48 ET—is now 404’d.)

It’s unclear whether the headline and link were put up by Drudge specifically or instead by an employee of his. At the moment, it appears as if ex-Washington Times columnist Charles Hurt is the only person known to be employed by Drudge. Of course, it would be, uh, interesting if Drudge was the one accidentally directing his readers to straight pornography.

I emailed Drudge for comment but have not yet heard back.
